I'm a born and bred Oslovian, with a master's degree from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oslo, where I specialized in aerodynamics and marine hydrodynamics. In September I start a research master at the von Kármán Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium. I sing in Meraki Kammerkor in my free time, and devote a lot of time to $\LaTeX$.

I've always had an interest in languages. In fact, I'm now an armchair linguist, with particular interest in Latin and Slavic languages.

Coloring

The color palette of this website is based on Isaac Levitan's Вечерний звон, one of my alltime favorite paintings. Its sister painting Тихая обитель is also serenely captivating. Evening peal is reminiscent of my prospect overlooking Vestre Aker parish from the half decade at my desk in Niels Henrik Abels hus at the University of Oslo, though I must admit my view was better. This painting also coïncidentally shares its name with one of my favorite choral pieces.

The color palette of this website is based on Arhip Kuindži's Исаакиевский собор при луне. I am reminded of Dostoevskij's Белые ночи, and a favorite song of mine in Подмосковные вечера, though the painting depicts a cathedral in Saint Petersburg. It's a little batmanesque, the color palette, isn't it?
